Questions before you scan

What is a subscription CSV analyzer?
A subscription CSV analyzer reads a bank or credit card transaction CSV and groups charges that repeat. Subscription Pilot does that in your browser: drop in the file and every recurring charge shows up with the amount and how often it hits. Read how the analyzer works.
Do you store my bank statement?
No. Your statement is processed in your browser and never stored on our servers. We don't keep the CSV or a copy of its contents. Close the tab and it's gone.
How do I get my CSV?
Sign in to your bank or credit card site on a computer, open the account, and look for Download or Export on Activity or Transactions. Choose CSV. Excel or spreadsheet is the same file. Use the credit card export when you can; a checking statement often only shows the monthly card payment. PDF statements are coming soon. Read our article if you need the download steps.
Can I upload a PDF?
Not yet. PDF statements are coming soon. For now, download the transaction CSV from Activity or Transactions. Excel or spreadsheet is the same file.
Do I have to save anything to your dashboard?
No. Run a scan, export the results to CSV, and leave. Nothing is saved unless you choose to save it.
Can I share results with my team?
Yes. Export your detected subscriptions to CSV and share with anyone. It opens in Google Sheets, Excel, or Notion.
Do you use AI or third-party processors?
No. Detection is rule-based and runs in your browser without third-party AI APIs.
Can I review results before anything is saved?
Yes. You review and edit detected subscriptions first.
Can I track subscriptions without scanning a statement?
Yes. On the dashboard you can manually add subscriptions without uploading a bank CSV.
What file format is supported?
A bank or credit card transaction CSV with Date, Description, and Amount columns. PDF statements are coming soon.
Does it work with credit card statement CSVs?
Yes. Scan each of your credit card statements and track subscriptions from every card. They all show up on your dashboard. A bank statement that only lists the total card payment each month won't include those individual charges.
Can I scan multiple statements at once?
Yes. Upload more than one CSV in the same scan. Subscriptions from every statement show up together on your dashboard.
What if detection is wrong?
You can edit, skip, or manually add subscriptions before exporting or saving.

I built Subscription Pilot because I wanted a simple way to see what I was actually paying for, without handing over my bank login or sending my financial data to an AI.

So I made it local-first: drop in your CSV, find the recurring charges, and see what's worth cancelling.
